Sigma University has a zero-tolerance policy towards ragging in any form, and we take a strong stance against such behavior. We believe that every student has the right to a safe and respectful learning environment, and we are committed to providing a campus culture that is free from harassment and bullying.
Our anti-ragging policy prohibits any form of physical, verbal, or psychological abuse, as well as any behavior that creates an intimidating or offensive environment. This includes but is not limited to name-calling, teasing, hazing, or any behavior that can cause physical or emotional harm to an individual or a group.
To ensure the effectiveness of our policy, we have established a Ragging Prevention Committee that monitors and investigates any reports of ragging on campus. The committee is composed of faculty members, student representatives, and staff, who work together to prevent, detect, and take corrective measures in case of any incidents.
Any student found to be engaging in ragging behavior, directly or indirectly, will face disciplinary action, including suspension, expulsion, or criminal charges as per the severity of the offense. We encourage all students to report any instances of ragging to the committee, as we believe that it is everyone's responsibility to create a safe and supportive learning environment for all.
We believe that our anti-ragging policy is an important step towards ensuring that Sigma University provides a welcoming and inclusive environment that fosters personal growth and academic success for all our students.
At Sigma University, we take sexual harassment very seriously, and we are committed to providing a safe and respectful learning environment for all our students, faculty, and staff. We believe that everyone has the right to work and study without fear of harassment or discrimination, and we have established a comprehensive policy to prevent, address and redress sexual harassment on our campus.
Our sexual harassment policy prohibits any form of unwelcome sexual advances, requests for sexual favors, or any other behavior of a sexual nature that creates an intimidating, hostile or offensive environment. This includes but is not limited to verbal or written comments, physical contact, or nonverbal conduct such as leering, stalking, or inappropriate gestures.
We have established a Sexual Harassment Prevention and Response Committee, composed of trained faculty members, staff, and student representatives, to receive and investigate complaints of sexual harassment on campus. The committee provides a safe and confidential reporting mechanism and offers support and resources to those who have experienced sexual harassment.
We take prompt and effective action against those who violate our policy, and we offer a range of remedial measures, including counseling, training, and disciplinary action. We also provide educational programs and training to raise awareness and prevent sexual harassment in all its forms.
At Sigma University, we believe that sexual harassment is a serious offense that undermines our values of respect and equality. We are committed to creating a campus culture that fosters mutual respect, inclusivity, and a safe learning environment for all our community members.
At Sigma University, we strive to create a supportive and inclusive environment for all our students, faculty, and staff. We understand that sometimes issues or concerns may arise, and we have established a comprehensive Grievance Redressal Policy to ensure that all grievances are addressed promptly, fairly, and effectively.
Our Grievance Redressal Policy aims to provide a transparent and accessible process for resolving any complaints, grievances, or conflicts that may arise on campus. The policy applies to all members of the Sigma University community and covers a wide range of issues, including academic matters, administrative issues, discrimination, harassment, or any other concerns.
The policy provides for an informal and formal process for addressing grievances. We encourage individuals to attempt to resolve their grievances informally, through discussions with relevant parties or mediation. If informal resolution is not possible, individuals can file a formal complaint with the Grievance Redressal Committee (GRC).
The GRC is composed of faculty, staff, and student representatives and is responsible for investigating and resolving complaints. The committee provides a fair and impartial hearing, and its decision is final and binding. The committee is committed to protecting the confidentiality and privacy of all parties involved in the grievance process.
We also offer support and resources to individuals who have filed a complaint, including counseling and legal assistance, if necessary. We encourage all members of the Sigma University community to report any grievances they may have, as we believe that a fair and just resolution process is essential for maintaining a healthy and inclusive campus culture.
At Sigma University, we are committed to resolving grievances in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring that all parties involved are treated with respect and dignity. Our Grievance Redressal Policy is an important step towards building a campus culture that promotes mutual respect, understanding, and inclusivity for all
